THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL PARK COUNTY IN CENTRAL COLORADO...

* UNTIL 830 PM MDT

* AT 632 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN CENTERED JUST WEST AND NORTHWEST OF LAKE GEORGE. THE
  RAIN IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

* FLASH FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EAST CENTRAL
  PARK COUNTY.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...LINK CREEK...
ADAMANS CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS.  THE HEAVY RAINS COULD
ALSO TRIGGER ROCK SLIDES OR DEBRIS FLOWS IN STEEP TERRAIN.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
