The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Grand County in east central Utah...

* Until 745 PM MDT

* At 451 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates one
  to two inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is expected to
  begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
  Grand County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland and other low lying
spots.
