* Until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 12.9 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...The river is cresting now and expected to
  begin falling Friday Morning.
* Forecast...Rise to 13.1 feet Friday morning...then begin falling.
  Ice action may produce additional river level fluctuations
  from the expected forecast over the next few days.

* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 18.3 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...The river is cresting now and expected to
  begin falling Friday Morning.
* Forecast...Rise to 18.3 feet Friday morning...then begin falling.
* Impact...At  18.0 feet...Water affects the Burlington Auditorium
  parking lot. Water also affects Bluff Harbor Marina. Water affects
  North Shore Marina in Fort Madison. In Dallas City, water affects
  First Street at the ball park.

  river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...crested this afternoon near 16 ft.
* Forecast...Fall to 14.9 feet Saturday morning.
  Ice action may produce additional river level fluctuations
  from the expected forecast over the next few days.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...Water affects much of Barstow Road between
  Barstow and Osborn. Water also affects homes in Osborn.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...near crest now.
* Forecast...Rise to 13.8 feet Friday morning...then begin falling.
  Ice action may produce additional river level fluctuations
  from the expected forecast over the next few days.
* Impact...At 13.2 feet...Water affects 60th Street south of John
  Deere Road in Moline and 75th Ave from Green Valley Park 48th St.
  Water is on Canal Road in Big Island. Smith`s Island is affected
  by flood waters.
