Advisory continues for the Arkansas River...

  Arkansas River At Toad Suck Lock And Dam Tailwater affecting
  Faulkner and Perry Counties

  Arkansas River At Pine Bluff affecting Jefferson and Lincoln
  Counties


River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 12 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
  The Arkansas River At Toad Suck Lock And Dam Tailwater.
* until Saturday morning.
* At 9:00 PM Thursday the stage was 273.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 275.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 273.6 feet by early
  Friday afternoon. However...additional rainfall is expected
  through the weekend. Please monitor the forecasts for any
  updates.

From the National Weather Service in Little Rock ...The Flood
Advisory continues for
  The Arkansas River At Pine Bluff.
* until late tonight.
* At 8:45 PM Thursday the stage was 39.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 40.0 feet by early Saturday
  morning. However...additional rainfall is expected over the weekend
  which could push the crest higher. Please monitor the latest forecasts
  for any updates.
* Impacts 40.0 feet...Water over the road to Island Harbour Estates.
  Flooding of cropland inside the levees. Residents of the Island Harbour
  area should monitor the river for any additional rises and take whatever
  steps necessary to protect their property. Some trails at the AGFC Delta
  Rivers Nature Center are covered by water and must be partially closed.
