  the Neuse River Near Clayton.
* At  9:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 16.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Major flood begins.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, There will be extensive flooding which will
  close the Neuse River Greenway trail.

  the Neuse River At Smithfield.
* At  9:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 25.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 25.4 feet by
  tomorrow night. The river will fall below flood stage
  Friday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Hospital and Buffalo Roads are flooded.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Major Flood Stage. Flooding cuts off the
  water treatment plants access to the reservoir.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Neuse River Near Goldsboro.
* from Thursday morning until further notice, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  9:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by tomorrow
  morning and continue to rise to near 23.7 feet by Monday evening.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Strobe lights at the end of the runway at
  Seymour Johnson Air Force base are flooded.
* Impact...At 22.5 feet, Evacuation of some homes in the Mar-Mac area
  and possibly the Buckhorn Island subdivision may be necessary.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Flooding begins on Seymour Johnson Air Force
  Base.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Riverview Trailer Park homes and Stevens Mill
  Road begin to flood.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Arrington Bridge Road and access roads around
  Seymour Johnson Air Force Base flood.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet, Ferry Bridge Road begins to flood.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Water overflows the banks
  at the SR1915 bridge and upstream of the US117 bridge.

* At 10:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 22.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, flooding reaches homes and businesses along
  Johnson Street.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, flooding begins in Pruitt and Shannon
  Villages on the east side of town.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, banks overflow at Main Street. River Bend
  Park is flooded and storm drains are inundated along the river.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Bankfull in the vicinity of Main Street.
  Minor flooding begins in River Bend Park 0.1 miles upstream of Main
  Street.

* At 10:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 25.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  late Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 27.0 feet, Spruce Street at NC 97 is flooded.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet, East Virginia Street floods east of the
  wastewater plant.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, The on-ramps to US64 at NC 97 begin to flood.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Several streets west of business US301 are
  flooded, including E Ridge Street and Melton Drive.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Flooding reaches Melton Drive and E Ridge
  Street.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Tar River At Tarboro.
* At  9:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by tonight and
  continue to rise to near 30.5 feet by early Saturday morning. For
  reference, the river reached 36.3 feet back on Oct 13 after Hurricane
  Matthew.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, This is the major flood stage. Baker and St
  James Street begin to flood.
* Impact...At 26.6 feet, This is the stage reached during hurricane
  Fran on September 15, 1996.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins in Tarboro. River
  Road is underwater and flooding begins on east Wilson and St David
  Streets.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins south of Daniel
  Street in east Tarboro.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. The Riverside Park and
  River Road at the US64 bridge flood.

* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Minor overflow occurs on both banks.

* At  9:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 8.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by early tomorrow
  and continue to rise to near 11.0 feet by Sunday early afternoon.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Moderate flooding of homes and other
  structures along the river in Roanoke Rapids flood.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Farmlands and timberlands
  adjacent to the river in Roanoke Rapids flood.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by tomorrow
  afternoon and continue to rise to near 30.8 feet by Saturday early
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 31.0 feet, There is widespread flooding on the left
  banks.
* Impact...At 28.0 feet, Minor flooding begins, especially on the left
  bank.
