FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
343 PM AKDT FRI JUL 31 2015

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE IS MOVING IN KEEPING PRECIP TO A MINIMUM THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. THE EXCEPTION IS THIS EVENING AROUND THE BRISTOL BAY
AREA WHERE SHOWERS AND ISOLATED WET THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP.
THIS AREA EXTENDS NORTH TOWARDS THE KILBUCK MOUNTAINS AND
NORTHEAST TO THE ALASKA RANGE. HOWEVER...AFTER THIS EVENING THE
AREA AROUND BRISTOL BAY SHOULD CLEAR UP AS WELL. THE DRY PATTERN
WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
