Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
612 AM EST Mon Dec 11 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A dying cold front sagging southward from the Great Lakes could
produce a few snow showers across northwest Pennsylvania this
morning. Otherwise, fair and chilly weather is expected today with
light winds.

Low pressure will track just north of Pennsylvania tonight,
bringing a light snowfall of 1 to 3 inches over the northern
counties and perhaps just a dusting in the south.

As the low pressure system passes north of the state, a trailing
cold front will sweep through Tuesday, ushering in the coldest
air of the season for midweek. Winds will become gusty behind the
front and lake effect snow showers will develop over the northwest
part of the state by late in the day.
