FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
403 AM CST FRI MAR 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...
GENERALLY SUNNY SKIES BUT COLD CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
NORTHERN ALABAMA TODAY...AS HIGH PRESSURE SPRAWLED OVER THE
MID-MISSISSIPPI VALLEY CONTROLS THE WEATHER. DESPITE THE
SUN...HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL STRUGGLE TO REACH
40...WITH NORTHERLY WINDS AROUND 5 MPH. DRY CONDITIONS AND COLD
WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT...WITH LOWS IN THE MID 20S.
SOMEWHAT WARMER WEATHER WILL END THE WEEK ON SATURDAY...WITH
HIGHS RISING INTO THE MID 50S. NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS
TIME OF YEAR ARE IN THE LOWER 60S. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL BE REDUCED INTO THE MID AND UPPER 20S PERCENT
RANGE DURING SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

LIGHT WINDS AND LOW MIXING HEIGHTS WILL RESULT IN GENERALLY
POOR DISPERISON RATES TODAY. SOMEWHAT HIGHER MIXING HEIGHTS...
DESPITE SOUTHERLY WINDS AROUND 5 MPH SHOULD PRODUCE FAIR
DISPERSION RATES.
