Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
119 PM CDT Mon Sep 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather is expected through the period. A dry cold front
is forecast to move across the area on Thursday bringing
some relief from the above normal temps and humidity. Winds will
shift to the north on Wednesday before the front arrives with
speeds remaining below 10 mph. After that expect breezy afternoons
from Thursday through Sunday with gusts upwards of 20 mph at times.
Dispersion values remain fair for Tuesday then as transport winds
increase values improve to Good. This extended period of little to
no precip and the drier conditions forecast late this week will
result in some additional drying of 1-hour and 10-hour fuels.

Fog potential over the next few days: Fog in the favored valley
locations is possible again tonight.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not at this time.
