FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
148 PM CDT WED SEP 17 2014

.DISCUSSION...SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR IN THE REGION HAS HALTED WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS FROM BREAKING OUT THIS AFTERNOON. THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO
HOLD ITS PLACE JUST SOUTH OF OUR MOST SOUTHERN ZONES OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE DAYS. SOME SCATTERED RAINFALL TOMORROW WILL BE TRIGGERED BY A
MINOR UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE PASSING THROUGH THE AREA. EASTERN MS HAS
THE BEST CHANCE OF STAYING DRY WHILE WESTERN AND SOUTHERN ZONES HAVE
SLIGHTLY BETTER CHANCES OF SEEING RAINFALL. ONLY MINOR FOG IS EXPECTED
TOMORROW AND FRIDAY MORNING...MOSTLY IN RIVER VALLEYS AND LOW LYING
AREAS.
