Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
344 PM CST Tue Dec 12 2017

.DISCUSSION...
An elevated fire danger is expected again on Wednesday afternoon over
parts of central and southeast Missouri. A combination of dry fuels,
a minimum relative humidity between 25-30 percent, and sustained wind
gusts between 12-15 mph with higher gusts will be responsible for
the elevated fire danger. A cold front will also move across Missouri
and Illinois causing winds to shift from southwest to northwest.
Thursday and Friday are expected to be dry and colder behind the front.
There is a chance of precipitation over the weekend.
