NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO
325 PM CDT TUE MAY 3 2016

.DISCUSSION...
THERE WILL BE A HEIGHTENED FIRE DANGER ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
FOR PARTS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AS HUMIDITIES DROP INTO THE 20S
ALONG WITH NORTHWEST WINDS OF 12-14 MPH AND 10-HOUR FUEL
MOISTURES FALLING TO AROUND 9 PERCENT.

OTHERWISE...AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL TEAM WITH A
COLD FRONT TO PRODUCE THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS OVER MUCH OF
OUR REGION LATE TONIGHT AND PARTS OF ILLINOIS ON WEDNESDAY.
THE COLD FRONT WILL ALSO RESULT IN WINDS SHIFTING FROM THE
SOUTHWEST TO FROM THE NORTHWEST LATE TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY
MORNING.

A DRY DAY WITH SLIGHTLY WEAKER WINDS IS EXPECTED ON THURSDAY.
