Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Central Florida
National Weather Service Melbourne FL
446 AM EST Sun Feb 26 2017

.Discussion...
A cooler and drier air mass will spread into east central Florida today in the wake of a weak cold front. Relative humidity
values will fall to between 25 and 35 percent for several hours this afternoon from interior Volusia County to northwest
Osceola County, westward. North winds 10-15 mph will veer to northeast later this afternoon. Closer to the coast, minimum
RH will above 40 percent, with winds around 15 mph and gusty at times.

A quick warm-up and moistening of the air mass will take place Monday and continue through mid week as winds become onshore.
Isolated to scattered showers will move onshore early-mid week, with generally low coverage and accumulations, favoring coastal
counties moreso than the interior counties. Increased cloud cover and a little higher rain coverage for Thursday, with a few
lightning storms possible as the next cold front drops through central Florida.

Fog potential and other remarks...only patchy early morning fog in a few spots today, with most areas not being impacted.
If any dense fog occurs, it will be very isolated and brief and will occur along the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee County
prior to sunrise. Only some patchy fog possible Monday morning, especially over the interior.
