FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPOKANE WA
247 PM PDT SAT MAY 23 2015

.DISCUSSION...

EXPECT ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND ALONG WITH
THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FOCUSED PRIMARILY AROUND THE
CASCADES AND SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AND LOWER IDAHO. THEN LATE
SUNDAY AND INTO MONDAY...THE ARRIVAL OF ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM
WILL INCREASE THE MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY WITH A RENEWED CHANCE
OF THUNDERSTORMS SPREADING ACROSS ALL DISTRICTS. THIS PATTERN WILL
CONTINUE INTO MID WEEK WITH TEMPERATURES COOLING TO NEAR NORMAL
EARLY IN THE WEEK AND WARMING BACK ABOVE NORMAL LATER IN THE WEEK.
