Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
301 PM PDT Thu Mar 23 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Rain spreads inland tonight with showers
by Friday afternoon. Gusty coastal wind through late evening.
Thunderstorms are possible Friday. Wet pattern continues through
the weekend, but a few dry days possible early next week.

.DISCUSSION...Rain spreads inland tonight as a front moves
through. A cool upper trough will bring a slight chance of
thunderstorms over much of the area Friday afternoon to early
evening. However given the expected vertical wind profile,
thunderstorms could be quite active east of the coast range. Wet
pattern continues through the weekend. A few dry days possible
early next week. HIGA
