Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
844 PM MDT Sun Oct 22 2017

.Discussion...

A cold front will move through the southeast plains of the
district on Monday which will produce breezy north winds
and help knock temperatures back to near to slightly below
normal. Temperatures will rebound again for Tuesday and
Wednesday with winds on the increase again towards mid week.
There could be some spotty near critical fire weather conditions
on Wednesday as humidity values will come close along portions
of the I-25 corridor, however wind gusts appear to be the limiting
factor. A storm system will drop a cold front through the plains
Thursday afternoon spreading a chance for rain and snow showers
across the mountains and adjacent plains through Friday along
with a significant drop in temperatures. Dry weather with another
warming trend returns for next weekend.

Most areas will see smoke dispersions rise into the good to very
good category Monday afternoon. The exception may be along the
I-25 corridor where dispersions will stay limited to the Fair
category. Similar dispersions can be expected for Tuesday.
