.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...THE RIDGE WILL FLATTEN TODAY DUE TO A WEAK DISTURBANCE
WHICH WILL BRING A THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE NORTH. ANOTHER
TROUGH WITH ITS ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH SATURDAY
NIGHT RESULTING IN SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL
BE COOL SUNDAY INTO MONDAY ACROSS THE NORTH BUT WILL BE WARM ELSEWHERE.
A RIDGE BUILDS OVER THE REGION NEXT WEEK FOR WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS.

.DISCUSSION...ALTHOUGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARMER TODAY THE RIDGE
OVER US WILL FLATTEN AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE MOVES ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH THIS
AFTERNOON BRINGING A THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS. THE SOUTH WILL REMAIN DRY.
ANOTHER TROUGH AND ITS ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN
UTAH SATURDAY NIGHT WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.
ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO SUNDAY WITH BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES.
ALL AREAS WILL SEE A WARMING TREND NEXT WEEK WITH ABOVE AVERAGE
