Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern Nevada
Northwest Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Las Vegas NV
413 AM PDT Wed May 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...A trough moving down from southwest Canada will
produce increasing southwest winds along with hot and dry
conditions leading to elevated fire weather concerns across much of
the region today and Thursday, but wind speeds are expected to
remain below critical thresholds. A weak disturbance and mid level
moisture may produce isolated high based thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening across the southern Sierra and southern Great
Basin.

NOTE: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
