...WIND AND WEIGHT OF RAINFALL TO INCREASE RISK OF FALLING DEBRIS
OVER ONGOING FIRES THIS WEEKEND...

A LARGE UPPER LOW AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE COAST
FRIDAY NIGHT AND THEN INLAND SATURDAY BRINGING WETTING RAINS TO THE
WEST SIDE AND GUSTY WINDS TO MANY LOCATIONS. STRONG WINDS AND THE
WEIGHT OF RAINFALL MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF FALLING DEBRIS ON AREA
FIRES AND BURN SCARS. FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS ON WEST SIDE BURN
SCARS IS A SLIGHT POSSIBILITY SATURDAY. IT WILL DRY OUT SUNDAY,
BUT COOL AND RELATIVELY HUMID WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO
NEXT WEEK.
