Spot Forecast for Big Bay 04...UPDATED

827 AM EST Wed Dec 13 2017

Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 EST on December 13.
If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather
Service.

Positive or negative feedback including observations taken at
the burn site would be greatly appreciated. You can use the same

.DISCUSSION...A cold and dry airmass will remain across our
region. A strong area of low pressure will track east across the
Midwest and into the NE US. Generally light west winds are expected
this morning. However, an increasing pressure gradient between
the low to our north, and high pressure to our south, will lead to
increasing winds this afternoon and tonight, with surface and
transport wind directions becoming SW. Latest information suggests
minimum RH values this afternoon will fall to near 20 percent. It
appears that the wind will prevent a significant inversion from
developing tonight, with good to excellent dispersion expected.
