.DISCUSSION...A cold front over the near-shore Gulf waters of
Mississippi and extreme southeast Louisiana will continue to push
south into the central Gulf of Mexico today and tonight. High
pressure with much drier and cooler air will build across the Gulf
States over the weekend. A warm front will push back north across
the region on Monday bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms
with it. Another cold front will move across the central Gulf
region on Wednesday ushering in cooler air for the end of the
week.

1. There is a good chance that relative humidity could fall below
25 percent today. The current forecast is for 28 percent, but this
is a scenario where lower than forecast humidities are not
unusual.

2. A northerly direction for the wind is anticipated all day.
Winds will become northeast tonight, east Sunday morning and
southeast by Sunday afternoon.

3. Next good chance of rain is Monday...60 percent.

4. Forecast high tide at 640 am this morning. Low tide at 5 pm
tonight with about a half foot range. Northerly winds could
