SPOT FORECAST FOR PIUTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
645 PM MDT TUE OCT 21 2014

.DISCUSSION...THE COLD FRONT THAT PUSHED THROUGH THE AREA TODAY
NOW RESIDES ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN UTAH. INSTABILITY IN PLACE WILL
CONTINUE TO ALLOW FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS THROUGH THIS EVENING BUT
THESE WILL DIMINISH BY MIDNIGHT WITH MINIMAL POTENTIAL FOR ANY
ADDITIONAL WETTING RAINS OR SNOW PELLET DUSTINGS. A DRY WESTERLY
FLOW WILL DEVELOP TOMORROW ALLOWING SURFACE DRYING TO RH BUT NIGHT
TIME RECOVERY WILL REMAIN EXCELLENT. TOMORROW WILL SEE THE LOWEST
CLEARING FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS AS STABILITY INCREASES AND
TRANSPORT WINDS DROP A BIT...BUT INCREASING SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW
ALOFT WILL THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY WILL ALLOW FOR EXCELLENT
VENTILATION POTENTIAL EACH DAY.
