Daily Hydrologic Activities Discussion

During the past 24 hours ending at 7AM CDT Saturday, much of the
Missouri Basin received some much needed rainfall. Basin average
amounts generally ranged in the 0.25 to 0.50 inch range across the
area. However, higher amounts nearing 1 to 2 inches was recorded
across the Dakotas and even western Nebraska.

The following list shows the locations with precipitation
exceeding 1.00 inches in the past 24 hours.

For the next 24 hours ending at 7AM CDT Sunday, most forecast
precipitation will be well to the east of the Missouri Basin. However,
a few locations could pick up a tenth to a quarter of an inch of
rain should thunderstorms initiate across eastern portions of the basin
and also across northwest Kansas.
