This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Light snow showers and flurries are expected across the Northland
the rest of today through tonight with accumulations on the
Minnesota side of the Northland being under an inch. On the
Wisconsin side, expect higher snowfall totals across portions of
northeastern Douglas County, northern Bayfield County,
northwestern Ashland County, and northeastern Iron County. One to
three inches is expected in those areas. Snowfall may be moderate
for a brief period during the overnight with visibilities falling
to less than a mile.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

An area of low pressure will bring accumulating snow to much of
the region from Friday night into Saturday. At this point, it
appears much of the region has the potential to receive 2 to 4
inches of snow, with lesser amounts across the international
border region.

Snow spotters are requested to report measurements of snow accumulations
to the National Weather Service for tonight and Friday. Spotters
and the public can also report precipitation type with the free
M-PING smartphone app.
