THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN AND
CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTHEAST MISSOURI. SOME OF THE
THUNDERSTOMRS COULD BE STRONG OR SEVERE AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE OVERNIGHT...AND SOME OF THEM MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL.
THERE IS A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR A LARGE PORTION OF THE
AREA TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

MAJOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ON ALL POINTS OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER
FROM LA GRANGE TO THE CONFLUENCE OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER THROUGH
THE MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE REGION
TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND ADDITIONAL
FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY FOR A LARGE PORTION OF THE AREA.

THE THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

MAJOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ON ALL POINTS ALONG THE ILLINOIS
RIVER FROM LA GRANGE TO THE CONFLUENCE OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER
THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK.
