...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE ATLANTIC WATERS...

AT 1045 PM AST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE ATLANTIC WATERS. THESE STORMS WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THE
STRONG TROPICAL WAVE THAT IS MOVING ACROSS THE NORTHEAST CARIBBEAN
ISLANDS. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING WEST SOUTHWEST AT AROUND 20 KNOTS.
STRONG GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...TORRENTIAL
RAINFALL...AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

MARINERS CAN ALSO EXPECT LOCALLY HIGHER WAVES NEAR THE THUNDERSTORMS.
WATERSPOUTS MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY
QUICKLY STREAM WEST SOUTHWEST. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS. IF CAUGHT ON THE OPEN WATER
STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED METAL
OBJECTS.
