WATERS...

.STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 KNOTS WITH GUSTS NEAR 45 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TODAY. A GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT TODAY. A LOW
WATER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR GALVESTON BAY AS A COMBINATION OF
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS AND LOW ASTRONOMICAL TIDES WILL INCREASE
THE POTENTIAL FOR GROUNDING...PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE NORTHERN
PORTION OF THE BAY.

* WATER LEVELS...1.5 TO 2.5 FEET BELOW NORMAL.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A LOW WATER ADVISORY MEANS WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE
SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW AVERAGE. MARINERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION
AND TRANSIT AT THE SLOWEST SAFE NAVIGABLE SPEED TO MINIMIZE
IMPACT.
