...STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS SEAS CONTINUE EARLY TODAY...

.Strong northerly winds 20 to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knots and
dangerous 7 to 11 foot seas will continue this morning as low
pressure strengthens off the coast. Winds and seas will gradually
subside this afternoon and tonight.

...GALE WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has issued
a Small Craft Advisory, which is in effect until 1 PM EST this
afternoon. The Gale Warning has been cancelled.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt.

* SEAS...2 to 4 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 6 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners,
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.
