HOURS. THROUGH 1030 PM MDT...SHOWERS WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS NEAR
GLENWOOD...PLEASANTON...ZUNI PUEBLO...GALLUP...CHACO CANYON...THE
BLANCO TRADING POST...AND NAGEEZI. ACCUMULATIONS WITH THESE SHOWERS
WILL BE GENERALLY LIGHT...FROM A FEW HUNDRETHS TO ONE TENTH AN
INCH. CLOSER TO THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY...THUNDERSTORMS WILL DRIFT
SLOWLY TO THE WEST...PRODUCING MODERATE TO HEAVY DOWNPOURS...
DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES TO
45 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST LIKELY FROM LAGUNA AND ACOMA
PUEBLOS AND TOHAJIILEE AND IN CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTY NORTH AND
NORTHEAST OF MAGDALENA. LOCAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO AN INCH AND A
HALF ARE POSSIBLE FROM THE STRONGER STORMS. RUNOFF ASSOCIATED WITH
THIS ACTIVITY WILL LEAD TO FAST MOVING WATER THROUGH NORMALLY DRY
ARROYOS AND CREEKS AND ACROSS LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

SLOWLY OVER PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.
THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE LOCAL MODERATE TO HEAVY
DOWNPOURS RESULTING IN A THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH OF RAIN IN 30
MINUTES. LOCATIONS ALONG THE INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR INCLUDING ISLETA
PUEBLO...LOS LUNAS...BERNARDO...SAN ACACIA...LEMITAR AND SOCORRO
COULD BE IMPACTED BY HEAVY RAIN...LIGHTNING...GUSTY OUTFLOWS AND
FAST MOVING RUNOFFS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO ROAM THE
NORTHERN HIGHER TERRAIN...INCLUDING THE AREA FROM COSTILLA TO VERMEJO
PARK. BE PREPARED FOR FAST MOVING WATER THROUGH NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS
AND CREEKS AND ACROSS LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
