An area of showers with embedded thunderstorms off of Matagorda
Island will continue to move west and northwest towards Calhoun
County late this evening. Mariners can expect light to
occasionally moderate rainfall with this activity along with a
few cloud to surface lightning strikes. Gusty winds to around 30
knots may also occur.
