...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 6 PM CDT this evening.

* TIMING...Strong winds will continue through Tuesday morning and
  afternoon, slowly subsiding this evening.

* WINDS...sustained wind speeds of 25 to 35 mph are expected, with
  gusts around 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow around unsecured objects.
  Travel may be difficult for high profile vehicles. Fire danger
  may be enhanced in agricultural fields.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be
31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph.  Winds of
these magnitudes may cause minor property damage without extra
precautions. Motorists in high profile vehicles should use
caution until the winds subside.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* TIMING...Strong winds will briefly subside in the evening
  hours, but then increase around midnight and continue to be
  strong through the day on Tuesday.

* WINDS...Northwest winds of 25 to 40 mph can be expected
  overnight, with the strongest winds after midnight. Winds will
  continue to be strong on Tuesday with sustained speeds of 25
  to 35 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow around unsecured objects.
  Travel may be difficult for high profile vehicles. Fire danger
  may be enhanced in agricultural fields.
