...LAKE WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST FRIDAY...

* EVENT...A strong cold front will move through Arkansas Thursday
  evening and tonight. Behind the front, winds will turn to the
  northwest and increase significantly.

* AREAS AFFECTED...Much of Arkansas

* TIMING...Strong, gusty northwest winds will increase in the
  northwest corner of the state this evening and will spread
  eastward overnight.

* WINDS...Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph will gust up to 40 mph
  in some locations.

* IMPACTS...Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution. Small
  boats will be impacted the most. Also, high profile vehicles and
  other interests affect by high winds will be vulnerable to the
  strong winds.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
