...STRONG WINDS TO IMPACT THE MID STATE TONIGHT INTO THE MORNING...

.AS THE SURFACE LOW CURRENTLY OVER NORTHERN GEORGIA MOVES TO THE
EAST TONIGHT...THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL TIGHTEN OVER
THE MID STATE. WINDS LOOK TO PICK UP THIS EVENING AND STRENGTHEN
AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE BEST CHANCES AT STRONGER WINDS WILL BE ALONG
THE I-24 AND I-65 CORRIDORS...AS WELL AS HIGHER ELEVATIONS ALONG
THE HIGHLAND RIM AND CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO
30 MPH AND GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY FROM
MIDNIGHT THROUGH AROUND 9 AM. WINDS WILL CALM DOWN BELOW CRITERIA
FROM WEST TO EAST AFTER DAYBREAK...AND SHOULD BE CONFINED TO
HIGHER ELEVATIONS ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU BY THE LATE
MORNING/EARLY AFTERNOON ON MONDAY.

ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST MONDAY.

* TIMING...MIDNIGHT THROUGH NOON MONDAY.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED 20 TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...SOME TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES MAY BE BLOWN DOWN. LOOSE
OUTDOOR OBJECTS WILL BE BLOWN AROUND. TRAVEL COULD BE
DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ON EAST-WEST
ROADWAYS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WIND OF 25 MPH OR GREATER
WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG MAY
BLOW DOWN A FEW TREES OR TREE LIMBS AND CAUSE ISOLATED POWER
OUTAGES. DRIVING MAY ALSO BECOME DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
