.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Maria was centered near 32.9N 73.1W at 5 AM
EDT this morning, and was moving N or 360 degrees at 06 kt. Maria
is expected to move to near 33.7N 73.2W at 2 PM this afternoon,
34.6N 73.1W as a tropical storm at 2 AM tonight, 35.4N 72.7W at
2 PM Wed, 35.8N 71.7W at 2 AM Wed night, 37.0N 66.0W at 2 AM Thu
night, 41.0N 53.0W at 2 AM Fri night, and well E of the area near
48.0N 35.5W at 2 AM Sat night as a post-tropical low. Also, S to
SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact the area today into Fri
night. Please refer to the latest National Hurricane Center
advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a cold front will move
over the NW portion Thu into Thu night, reach the central waters
early Fri, and move over the S waters Fri night before passing SE
of the area Sat and Sat night. Weak low pres will pass across the
N and central waters Fri night and Sat. Another high pres ridge
will build just N of the waters Sat and Sat night.
