New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure centered about
250 nm E of Cape Lookout will rapidly intensify while passing S
and SE of the area today through Fri. A high pressure ridge will
build E into the waters S of the area Thu night through Sun
night. A cold front will approach from the NW late Sat, move SE
across the waters Sat night into Sun, then pass S of the area
late Sun and Sun night while weakening. Another ridge will build
SE over the waters Sun night into Mon night as a warm front
approaches the area from the SW.
