***MODERATELY STRONG WINDS DEVELOPING NORTH OF FAIRBANKS***

North winds will increase early this morning mainly from
Fairbanks north. As a moderately strong low pressure system moves
into the Northern Gulf of Alaska and the ridge of high pressure
remains slow to move north from the Arctic Coast, this will create
a moderately strong pressure gradient over the Central Interior
of Alaska.

Expect northerly winds to increase this morning to between 15 and
30 mph, particularly over higher terrain and continue through
Monday night.

Some areas of blowing snow will be produced, especially over
higher terrain.
