...February 60 Degree Highs in the Quad Cities...


There is the distinct possibility the Quad Cities will experience
a very rare weather occurrence beginning this Friday. The high
temperature at Moline, Illinois may reach or exceed the 60 degree
mark for 4 consecutive days in February. The current forecast
calls for highs Friday through Monday to be between 60 and 65
degrees all 4 days. While these values may not set daily record
highs, it should be noted that this many consecutive days over 60
degrees in February has only occurred on 3 other occasions. Below
is a list of the instances of 4 or more consecutive 60 degree days
in February in Moline, IL beginning with the most recent.
