...NWS Damage Survey for 07/13/2015 Thunderstorm Wind Event in
On July 15, a NWS survey team assessed damage from the July 13
storms in western Taylor County, near the Green County line. Damage
was consistent with a broad area of 65-70 mph winds, with embedded
85 mph winds.

Survey Summary: Downburst winds caused structural damage to at least
6 barns, and blew over an un-anchored, vacant mobile home. Damage
was observed along Mac Pittman Road from Highway 569 to Highway 323,
along Moss Road east of Mac Pittman Road, and along Highway 323 from
Mac Pittman Road into the community of Bengal. Damage suggested
widespread 65-70 mph winds, with embedded pockets of 85 mph winds.
No tornadic damage was evident, but the strongest winds were likely
associated with small, transient eddies.
