...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY EVENING FOR ALL
OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS DUE TO VERY GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITY...

.GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES EARLY THIS
EVENING ARE PRODUCING LOCALLY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE PLAINS. A BRIEF DECREASE IN THE WINDS MAY
OCCUR THROUGH THE EVENING. HOWEVER...WINDS WILL INCREASE AGAIN AND
BECOME STRONGER OVERNIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST
WINDS OF 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 45 MPH ARE FORECAST TO OCCUR
DURING THIS TIME. THE PEAK OF THE WINDS WILL OCCUR LATE MORNING
THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON ON SUNDAY. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES OF
15 TO 20 PERCENT ARE FORECAST TO OCCUR NEAR THE RIO GRANDE AND 20
TO 35 PERCENT ELSEWHERE.

THESE CONDITIONS WILL BE CONDUCIVE FOR RAPID FIRE GROWTH AND
SPREAD...ESPECIALLY IN CURED GRASSES. A HIGH TO VERY HIGH FIRE
DANGER WILL EXIST SUNDAY NEAR A FREDERICKSBURG TO SAN ANTONIO TO
KARNES CITY LINE AND ALL THE WAY WEST TO THE RIO GRANDE. EAST OF
THIS LINE A MODERATE TO HIGH FIRE DANGER WILL EXIST.

NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DECREASE SUNDAY EVENING...BUT HUMIDITIES
WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN LOW.
