...DRY CONDITIONS AND STRONGER WINDS THE NEXT FEW DAYS...

.OVERVIEW...MODERATE TRADE WINDS WILL INCREASE THURSDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY AS A SHEAR LINE APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH. FEW SHOWERS
ARE EXPECTED THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS SO THE FIRE DANGER WILL
INCREASE AS WINDS STRENGTHEN. WITH THE KBDI IN THE EXTREME
CATEGORY AND FUEL MOISTURES LOW...STRONGER WINDS WILL INCREASE
THE RISK OF QUICK-SPREADING FIRES.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TIYAN HAS ISSUED A FIRE WEATHER
WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* AFFECTED AREA...PRIMARILY THE MOUNTAINS AND GRASSY AREAS OF
  SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL GUAM.

* WIND...NORTHEAST 15 TO 20 MPH TODAY...INCREASING TO BETWEEN 15
  AND 25 MPH THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

* HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 50 PERCENT.

* TIMING...MOST DANGEROUS TIMES WILL BE FROM THE LATE MORNING
  THROUGH EARLY EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP COULD SPREAD RAPIDLY...
  ESPECIALLY ALONG NORTH AND EAST-FACING SLOPES. OUTDOOR BURNING
  IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS FLYING EMBERS AND ASH MAY START SPOT FIRES
  DOWNWIND.
