DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
948 AM EDT FRI MAY 6 2016

...All river forecast points remain and are forecast to stay
below flood stage...

An upper level low pressure system that sparked isolated showers and
thunderstorms across the Midlands Thursday will continue to weaken and
pull northeast over the next 24 hours. Upper level troughs rotating
around the back side of the low are expected to aid another round of
showers this afternoon...primarily in the Pee Dee and Northeast Midlands.
High pressure builds back in Saturday...with the next chance of rain
not expected until Thursday of next week. River levels will continue
to fall throughout the region...with stage fluctuations due to dam
releases and hydro power production.
