DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1146 AM EDT WED JUL 23 2014

...ALL RIVER FORECAST POINTS ARE CURRENTLY BELOW FLOOD STAGE...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED RAINFALL AMOUNTS
GENERALLY UNDER ONE-HALF INCH ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE PAST
24 HOURS. EVEN THOUGH AVAILABLE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE REMAINS HIGH
WITH WEAK TO MODERATE INSTABILITY PRESENT THIS AFTERNOON...
THE ABSENSE OF GOOD VERTICAL LIFT WILL LIMIT SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.

THERE IS A BETTER CHANCE FOR SHOWERS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
WITH THE APPROACH OF A SUMMERTIME COLD FRONT FROM THE NORTHWEST.
OVERALL...AREA RIVER STAGES ARE FORECAST TO HAVE MINOR CHANGES
THROUGH FRIDAY.
