.Water levels along the Myakka River will hover just below flood stage for
the next couple of days before a slow drop. Any localized heavy rain that
falls in the coming days could lead to additional flooding. Additional
showers and thunderstorms are expected this week...mainly during the afternoon
and evening hours along the sea breeze.

For the Myakka River At Myakka River State Park, the latest stage is 6.7 feet at
10 AM Sunday.
