WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO/ROMEOVILLE IL
717 PM CST FRI MAR 6 2015 /817 PM EST FRI MAR 6 2015/

FAIR SKIES WERE THE RULE THIS EVENING ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA. HIGH TEMPERATURES MADE IT INTO THE MID TO UPPER
20S.

STEADY SOUTHWEST WINDS AHEAD OF A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL KEEP LOWS
IN THE 20S TONIGHT. THESE WINDS WILL ALSO HELP BOOST TEMPERATURES
ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY INTO THE UPPER 30S TO LOW 40S WHICH SHOULD
HELP THE REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SNOW ON THE GROUND. THE ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE INTO NEXT WEEK...AS TEMPERATURES ARE
FORECAST TO REACH THE 50S BY WEDNESDAY. IN THE MEANTIME...MAINLY
DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH THE EXCEPTION
THAT A WEAK DISTURBANCE MAY GIVE THE AREA A VERY SLIGHT CHANCE OF
SOME LIGHT SNOW OR LIGHT RAIN SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
