...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN...WASHINGTON
AND NORTHEASTERN ADAMS COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM MDT...

At 752 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles east of Hillrose to near Shamrock, or
along a line extending from 16 miles northwest of Akron to 46 miles
north of Limon. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will precede this line of storms.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Morgan, Akron, Brush, Log Lane Village, Otis, Hillrose, Gary,
Thurman, Anton, Shamrock, Elba, Platner, Twelve-Mile Corner, Adena
School, Adena, Woodlin School, Lindon, Snyder, Midway and Woodrow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for sudden strong and gusty winds. Secure loose objects and
move to a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

The strong winds may also produce areas of blowing dust that could
reduce visibilities to less than a quarter mile.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
