MOVING EAST...SOUTHEAST ACROSS INTERIOR DOWNEAST MAINE LATE THIS
EVENING...

AT 1010 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS MOVING
EAST...SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE BANGOR AREA AT 35 MPH...MOVING TOWARD
EAST CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY. LITTLE OR NO LIGHTNING IS BEING
INDICATED WITH THESE SHOWERS...BUT WEST TO NORTHWEST WIND GUSTS
UP TO 40 MPH WERE MEASURED AT BANGOR AIRPORT. ANYONE WITH OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES ACROSS SOUTHERN PENOBSCOT...CENTRAL HANCOCK AND CENTRAL
WASHINGTON COUNTY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR A SUDDEN AND BRIEF INCREASE
IN WINDS THAT MAY ACCOMPANY THESE SHOWERS THROUGH 1130 PM EDT AS
THEY MOVE INTO WASHINGTON COUNTY.
