...NARROW AREA OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW CAUSING REDUCED VISIBILITY AND
SNOW ON ROADS ACROSS PARTS OF THE TWIN PORTS...

A narrow band of lake effect snow is reducing visibility and
causing slick roads across parts of Duluth and Superior this
evening. As of 3:30 PM this small band is concentrated along the
Interstate 35 corridor from near Jay Cooke State Park north
towards downtown Duluth and Lester Park. Over the next several
hours this band is expected to shift south and east to move over
Superior impacting Highway 2 and Highway 53 in northern Douglas
county. Those traveling this evening across the Twin Ports should
be prepared to encounter areas of reduced visibility and slick
roads.
