CENTRAL FORT BEND...WEST CENTRAL BRAZORIA AND NORTH CENTRAL MATAGORDA
COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM CDT...

At 530 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wharton to 9 miles southwest of Brazos
Bend State Park. These storms were nearly stationary.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
El Campo, Wharton, West Columbia, Pierce, Boling-Iago and Damon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
