SOUTHEASTERN WINSTON AND NORTHEASTERN NESHOBA COUNTIES UNTIL 245 AM
CST...

At 144 AM CST, Meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm
over Vernon, or near Nanih Waiya, moving east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Preston around 155 AM CST.
  Gholson and Mashulaville around 205 AM CST.
  Macon around 220 AM CST.
  Paulette around 230 AM CST.
  Cooksville and Prairie Point around 235 AM CST.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Shuqualak.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
