A LINE OF INTENSE SNOW SHOWERS WILL PASS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH ACROSS
THE AREA THIS MORNING. A QUICK HALF INCH OF SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED AS
THE LINE PUSHES THROUGH ANY GIVEN LOCATION. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
WILL BE POSSIBLE AS THE LINE MOVES THROUGH THE HIGHER TERRAIN ALONG
THE VIRGINIA AND WEST VIRGINIA STATE LINES. USE EXTRA CAUTION IF
TRAVELING THROUGH THIS LINE OF SNOW SHOWERS. MOTORISTS CAN EXPECT
RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF SLICK
SPOTS ON AREA ROADS...ESPECIALLY ON UNTREATED ROADS...BRIDGES...
OVERPASSES AND AROUND CURVES. ALLOW PLENTY OF STOPPING DISTANCE AND
TRY TO AVOID BRAKING SUDDENLY.
