...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN ST. TAMMANY PARISH
IN SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA AND SOUTHWESTERN HANCOCK COUNTIES...

At 822 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Slidell, moving
east at 5 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Slidell, Pearl River, Pearlington, Stennis Space Center and Slidell
Airport.

Main concern is torrential rainfall. The storm is moving slowly east
but could still drop a quick inch of rain.  This may cause localized
flooding especially in areas where drainage is bad. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.
