...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR THE CASCADE PASSES TODAY AND
WEDNESDAY...

A SERIES OF COLDER STORMS WILL RESULT IN LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATING
FOR THE CASCADE MOUNTAIN PASSES TODAY AND WEDNESDAY. A COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON
TONIGHT. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE AROUND 3000 FEET TODAY. EXPECT ONLY
LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR THE PASSES ON TODAY...WITH LOCAL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES.

THE COOLER AIR WILL REMAIN OVER THE CASCADES AND CASCADE
FOOTHILLS TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY AS ANOTHER FRONT PRODUCES
ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL RESULT IN A
BRIEF PERIOD OF HEAVIER SNOW LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY...WITH POSSIBLY ANOTHER 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW FOR THE
CASCADE PASSES. THE SOUTH WASHINGTON CASCADES COULD SEE CLOSER TO
5 INCHES TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. SNOW LEVELS RISE LATER WEDNESDAY
IN RESPONSE TO A WARM FRONT EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA
WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.

SNOW MAY CAUSE SOME TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ACROSS THE CASCADE PASSES
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
