...VERY HOT WEATHER EXPECTED LATE THIS WEEK AND WEEKEND FOR
NORTHWEST OREGON AND SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON...

THE HOTTEST WEATHER OF THE YEAR SO FAR IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT
THE END OF THIS WEEK...AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REACH WELL INTO THE 90S BY
FRIDAY IN THE INTERIOR LOWLANDS...AND IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S IN
THE COAST RANGE. CURRENTLY...IT LOOKS LIKE THE HOTTEST DAY WILL
BE SATURDAY WHEN THE MERCURY IS EXPECTED TO TOP OUT NEAR 100 AT
LOWER ELEVATIONS. THE HOT SPELL WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY NEXT
WEEK.

LOW TEMPERATURES IN THIS STRETCH WILL ALSO BE BE WARM. THE WARMEST
NIGHTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT WITH
VALLEY LOWS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 60S.

PLAN YOUR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ACCORDINGLY TO AVOID THE HEAT OF THE
