A CHILLY THANKSGIVING NIGHT IS AHEAD WITH SCATTERED LAKE EFFECT SNOW
SHOWERS FOR THE TRADITIONAL LAKE EFFECT BELTS. A PERIOD OF MORE
WIDESPREAD SNOW IS EXPECTED FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT BEFORE MILD
CONDITIONS LOOK TO ARRIVE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OUT AHEAD OF YET
ANOTHER SHOT OF COLD AIR THAT IS DUE IN EARLY NEXT WEEK.

COLD LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT...GENERALLY FROM THE
SINGLE DIGITS TO THE LOW TEENS ACROSS THE STATE.

HIGH TEMPERATURES FRIDAY WILL RANGE THROUGH THE 20S STATEWIDE.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER
AND EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

A PERIOD OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO
FRIDAY NIGHT. ENHANCED SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE OVER WESTERN
MACKINAC COUNTY DUE TO SOUTHERLY FLOW OFF LAKE MICHIGAN.
