SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI
900 AM EDT TUE AUG 30 2016

A WEAKLY ORGANIZED FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL QUICKLY SWEEP ACROSS THE
GREAT LAKES TODAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL GENERATE A ROUND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN MICHIGAN INTO THIS EVENING.

SOME SUN AND MORE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY...AS A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES INTO THE
NORTHERN PLAINS AND GREAT LAKES.

ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND INCREASING HUMIDITY RETURN TO NORTHERN
MICHIGAN FOR THE WEEKEND...WHILE THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS
INCREASES MONDAY AS A PLAINS STORM SYSTEM PUSHES INTO THE GREAT
LAKES.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY...WILL BE WELL ABOVE NORMAL...IN THE UPPER
70S TO LOW 80S STATEWIDE.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...WILL RANGE FROM THE 50S NORTH...TO THE
60S SOUTH.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN MICHIGAN THROUGH
TONIGHT. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.
